Last Night

I don't know if it was the full moon or Spring Equinox but my lil' guy (19 months) would NOT go to sleep last night. He must be growing or something because he ate like he had a hollow leg! When he took a nap and was up by 5:00pm I thought he would be ready to go to bed around 10:00 because that is his normal pattern. I have to clock in at work by 5:20am so when it got to be past 1:30am I was starting to wonder if I should just call in to work. My daughter and my honey came to my rescue and sent me to bed around 1:45 so I was able to sleep for just under three hours. Yesterday, I was able to do a short strength training session but nothing more as it was full moon chaotic at work and I had about a 20 minute lunch instead of the full hour. I could have squeezed in 10 minutes here and 10 minutes there yesterday but I just felt so tired. This sounds comical to me today. I was determined to get a workout in over lunch today. I spent 42 minutes with Leslie Sansone and 13 minutes with Jessica Smith for a total of more than 3.5 miles with 5 minutes of jogging!! YAYA!!! I cannot tell you how happy I am with myself over this. Another victory I am grateful for is that I didn't eat my way through the night when lil' guy wouldn't sleep. That is something I would have done in the recent past. I had thoughts, I did not act on them. I hope Mr. Teeny lets me take a nap when I get home from work. I really need one!
