Fixes for a Mewling Kitten (aka me)

March comes in like a lion...or in my case, a mewling little kitten. I've been fighting a cold for two weeks and am finally recovered. Now it's time to survey the damage.

Good news: I fit in my clothes, which means I didn't gain any weight. The scale is hovering the same area -- another win.

Bad news: My fitness minutes for the month currently sit at 108, a far cry from the 500 I wanted to be at. (My cold prevented me from hitting 1000 in February as well.) Also, I've picked up a nasty habit of eating snacks on the couch at 9:00 p.m. again. Must fix.

Here are my fixes:
1. Fitness minutes. It's March 15th. Instead of overdoing it and pushing for 1000, I'm going to set the low bar at 600 for the month. (my current 108 plus a doable 500 for the last two weeks) If I go above the bar, wonderful! But let's be realistic and start at 600.
2. Snacks on the couch. Dude. Come on. Not needed. First of all, I wasn't even tracking so I had no idea if I needed something specific (calcium, protein) or if I just wanted food. I also did not measuring and just used the Chex Mix or animal crackers as a feed bag. So! Track, measure, and how about making a cup of tea at 9:00 to use hydration as a fix?
