Thoughtful Thursday

Thursday, March 14, 2019

I saw a post this morning that referred to today as "Thoughtful Thursday." I like that. I like it a lot. I like it enough to adopt it and make it my own. In honor of this Thoughtful Thursday I considered the great possibility that each day is and the special place Thursday has in my world. For me, Thursday is two sided. It has the satisfaction of the accomplishments that occurred Sunday through Wednesday, the joy of the last day of the work week looming depending on your schedule, and the possibilities offered by the weekend.

In honor of Thoughtful Thursday, many things cross my mind: all of the people and things I am grateful for, hopes, dreams, wishes, prayers, and gratitude. Big, BIG GRATITUDE. Even with the struggles I have endured in this life, I am living my best life today. There are things I do not have that others use as a measure of success, but that is not my measure. I am loved, I am supported, I have a roof over my head, food in the kitchen, a car to drive, a job, and shelter from the many storms life brings. I am so fortunate. Part of my good fortune is the people at sparkpeople.com. By and large, these people I have never met are supportive, encouraging, positive, and we are all bonded through seeking better health. That is a super fine thing that you cannot find anywhere else.

Smiles and Hugs,

I like the THOUGHTFUL THURSDAY concept. This would be a day to focus on what we have accomplished during the week and what we need to work on.

Keep up the good work. emoticon
