I bought some vegan algae-derived DHA capsules yesterday. I've read that a lack of EPA oils can lead to depression in those who are vulnerable, so I took it this morning. I felt miserable and weepy yesterday. I also picked up a couple of vegan protein shake packets. I had the Vega Proteins & Greens shake this morning for my snack, and I felt very balanced and not hungry for a while. This may become my new snack.

I stuck with just this, adding only raw veggies until just before lunch, when I ate 2 Clementines with veggies. I napped with the cat during my lunch break and had my Vega protein bar right after my nap: 20 minute nap. I wanted to hold off, but didn't.

But all in all I did better by ducking the nuts and nut butter snacks. Think it will be helpful. I think I need more protein than I am getting, and that the WW green light on fruit led me to too much fruit consumption, which tanks my blood sugar. And I have had 28 oz of water already.
