Breaking It Up

Tuesday, March 12, 2019

I use to believe that if you didn't spend at least 30 minutes on a workout, you were wasting your time. No more. Now, I am happy with pushing myself every day, and if need be, in much smaller segments. 10 minutes here and there is a lot better than 30+ minutes no where. If your time constrained, or like me, your health won't allow for those longer workouts, think about this. Start easy, 2-3 minutes if need be. And just put in the time as often as you can. Those sessions will grow, and so will your health and happiness.

Great advice and so true! I have knee problems and break my exercise up into small periods of time. I go as long as my knees allow. And when they hurt I rest and get back to it later.
