Once Upon a Time...Over 30 days consistency

Well, Folks-ski's,
I completed 33 days of my 'Just Rebounding' fitness plan!
Sunday March 3- rested
Monday-50 minutes
Tuesday-50 minutes
Wednesday-50 minutes
Thursday-50 minutes
Friday- Sis came for Scrabble and prevented me from my 50, so after she left I did 10.
Saturday- My birthday! I got up and did 50 first thing in the morning.

The family went bowling. We've never gone before as a family because my hubby, with his unstable back and legs has not been able to bowl for about 30 years. But this year he felt so much better-he took the chance and did great!
The coolness is that I increased my ball's weight. As a teen I only EVER did 8 lbs. Last year, when I took my kids bowling on my Mom and Dad's anniversary, I think I used a 9 or 10 lb ball.
THIS year the 10 pounder felt way too light!!!!!!!!

Gasp! This is SUSAN speaking! I'm such a weakling, normally.
But I discovered that I could actually use a TWELVE pound ball. Any higher was too heavy, though.
Bowling is a really good work out. I was really surprised. We played 3 games and I had great muscle control. Felt really good all over.....
But I sure felt it afterwards.

On Sunday I walked through church and with every step, I either said, "ow. ow. ow. ow. ow." or "I HATE HATE HATE Daylight Savings Time."

This morning I was even MORE sore, so I got on my rebounder for a 5 minute Wake-Up.
Then Hubby took me to get new tags for my car, then out to a factory that makes custom, engraved wall hangings. That was SOOOO fun to pick something out!
I chose a CS Lewis quote that says,
"Christianity, if false, is of no importance, if true, of infinite importance.
The one thing that it cannot be, is moderately important."

I'm hanging it on my enclosed front porch. I love it.

At this factory, you order what you want, and the put the order in, and, in our case it was done in about 40 minutes...just enough time for hubby to take me out to lunch.

....and because I SHOPPED, my muscles felt suddenly better. (yes, I'm SURE that's the reason. I've been noticing a pattern. haha)

I'm in the process of choosing a large plaque for the wall over my fireplace. The living room that is now one year old (happy me) is full of generational wedding photos. So I would like some kind of wedding/Christ-centered theme engraved. I think I have to shop elsewhere for that size though. :(

okay, Hubby is home, so I'm going to go hang out with him.
(Oh, and HUBBY has been sticking to his fitness plan as well! )

Yea Both of US!

    I always feel it after bowling too. It's typically my glutes. Yowza! The body lets me know I've been using muscles in a manner not typically used. emoticon

    Thanks for sharing the C.S. Lewis quote. I have found that his writing stirs me.
