Hi all. I began my weight loss journey in late August of last year and, so far, have had good success, but now the weight loss has been slowing down. Enter....exercise! (what's been missing during this time). My Healthy Weight class has all its' students on the step plan, with a goal of 10,000 steps per day. I've heard that an hour of Zumba earns one 6,000 to 7,000 steps! Now that I've lost some weight, maybe my knees will like this better than they did last June when I had to quit because of a knee injury. The class includes a great warm up and cool down and is provided through our local Parks and Recreation district at low cost to Seniors.
