Help, I'm drowning in dog hair!

And other thoughts while waiting for my femur to heal!
I think it was the winter weather....Tonto (our 75# dog), can't decide whether to grow more hair or to shed what he has. He is leaving clumps of it everywhere, and with this broken leg I cannot keep up with it. Thank goodness for our Roomba.

I am getting really tired of sitting on my butt (which is probably growing faster than the bone is healing.). I Spark every morning and then read, nearly a book a day. Other than my pants still fitting, I have no idea how my weight is doing. Our meals are all simple things which even my 89 year old hubby can fix, so they're not particularly Sparkly.

I am getting my exercise by hopping around the house on one leg with the aid of a walker. Great for the upper body but doesn't do much for the rest of me....well, the hoppable leg is getting really strong.

Frankly, I am really sick of being indoors and would be so happy if I could even just go out in the yard to pick up dog poo.

All in all, you've been very patient Nan. It won't be long now before you're able to get out and about more. In the meantime emoticon

I remember the dog hair days, especially with my part Husky/Shepard.
Some areas it just swirled around no matter what a person did!
She was tri color, too, so it didn't matter what color you were wearing, she came along, too. emoticon

You are holding up, really well and I know you can;t wait to be "free" again.
    Chin up, keep smiling.

I hope your leg heals soon. It is frustrating to get things done when on crutches or using a walker, but I'm confident that you will get through it. You should be up and at 'em by the time it is nice to be outside.

Nan, I remember what dog hair all over was like when I had my little dog, it was a never-ending thing!
I do hope your leg heals soon so that you can get out and about again. It would be so boring and frustrating having to be housebound. I don't get out often now but at least I can walk in my building's hallways, walk to common room to look at magazine, etc.
I'm sure thinking of you! emoticon

Being the owner of four dogs I know what you mean! I reach down to pet a dog and realize it isn't a dog, just a giant clump of dog hair.
