I took stock

Monday, March 04, 2019

I’m up by 15 lbs since January 28th and I thought “this is unbelievable.” Then I took stock of my time since then and now I see what I’ve been doing wrong. Since my surgery on January 21 I have been put on recouping time walking and that’s it and that was for six weeks so that would be part of it. I’ve also been in procrastination mode lately, not only that but I’ve been sitting on my butt most of the time hardly doing any movement at all I’m surprised that my blood is flowing throughout my body I’ve been sitting so much LOL Sitting idly and not doing anything but getting up to go the bathroom or make something to eat or unpacking my boxes is not enough exercise obviously and eating mostly bad carbs answers all my questions about “Why.” I don’t understand why I keep doing this it’s like a roller coaster I lose a lot and then I gain some of it back and it goes back-and-forth like a ping-pong game and nothing ever sticks except the wait at least for a little while. I have therapy coming up this week and that will be my main issue to deal with until I don’t need to deal with it anymore therapy wise. I don’t know if it’s a matter of just focusing or a matter of just choosing but ultimately it’s up to me and I have to kick my own butt into gear, that’s my job no one else’s and I know that. Today I took up stability ball exercise and later this week my stationary bike will arrive it’ll be nice to sit on that bike and bike don’t worry I’ll still be doing upper body strength exercises and toning as well and no I will not be going overboard slow and steady wins the race said the tortoise to the hare.
