Here Comes March

Friday, March 01, 2019

I have managed to stay the same in my weight. I lost 40 pounds about 8 years ago and have managed to keep that off. That to me is a success. I want to take another 20 pounds off and it has been difficult.

Last month, Feb, we went away for a week for our anniversary. I managed to maintain and not add any additional weight. My frozen shoulder is on the mend. I have little pain now. It was very painful for about 4 months. It is such a blessing to sleep and not have the awful pain of that frozen shoulder wake me. Or spend a whole day with my arm throbbing with lots of pain. Glad that is over.

My hubby has to go for a colonoscopy on March 15. He had a positive reading on that home test your doctor gives you now. Praying there will not be any issues. Will be glad when we get the results so we know what we are dealing with.

At our age, 70's now, something always seems to be coming up medically. I can still walk 5 miles, climb stairs and get around well. Happy about all that.

Looking forward to March and getting some of the 20 pounds off. We are going to a class reunion in June so it would be nice to be down a little. We meet in 7th grade and went out several times in high school. We lost touch and reunited thru a class reunion list after over 50 years. We got married 3 years ago. It will be fun going to the reunion and seeing people we both went to school with. Some will be surprised we got together after all these years.

Congratulations on keeping those 40 pounds off, especially while on vacation and dealing with shoulder problems. My class reunion is coming up later this year too. I'm facing heart surgery soon.
