Hello March - Goals and Progress Update

Friday, March 01, 2019

As I do my 1st of the month check in - I note the results are from my efforts. I had hoped to lose more but I know that my binge eating on a few occasions prevented this from happening. So I won't take photos this month but I will share my progress. I am down 1.5lbs and another 3.75 inches. A colleague of mine shared that it looked like I lost weight - and this is why I tell people to MEASURE every month because even if you might not be losing as much weight as you hoped ... you may be toning up and that shows! Since January 1st I am down a total of
8lbs and 12 inches.

I also fell off the workout wagon (due to a flu bug) for over a week which didn't help.

My goals/plan for the month ahead :
✅Sleep 6 hours minimum - 7 hour optimally
✅Eliminate junk foods (chips and chocolate bars) and do food prep for healthy on the go snacks during the week and use 'fruit' as nature's candy to quench my sweet tooth
✅No eating past 6pm - NO EXCUSES
✅Workout 6 days a week - including new workouts. They are re-launching 21 Day Fix this month with Beachbody so I'll be doing some of those (I love the 30mins workouts and the nutrition piece that's easy to follow). I will also be throwing in some Shaun T in there. I'll post/share a calendar later today or this weekend for accountability. It's important to schedule your workout time as you do any other appointment - YOU matter and this is YOU time!
✅Meditate daily (I'm going to use this hypnosis track for every day in March before bed): www.youtube.com/watch?v=
UY-xuw0bEAM

✅Daily personal development - currently listening to Mel Robbins Take Control of Your Life and LOVING it! There's a great workbook that goes with it.

What are your goals for the month? Note that I didn't put anything in there about being AF (alcohol free) because it's no longer a challenge but rather something I'm building upon as I'm done for life. I will be reaching my 7 month milestone though emoticon

As you tackle 'one' goal - it's important to build and add new ones. I do believe of all of these goals - the one I need to prioritize most is my NUTRITION so I'll be more open and sharing about this aspect.

What are your goals for the month? I don't post daily here but I do on my Facebook Like page - have a visit and "like" follow me there www.facebook.com/Healthy

For March my focus is on Commitment... here are some inspiring quotes to get you there too! Wishing you a healthy, active and SUCCESSFUL month ahead!

Awesome!!!! I am just trying to maintain (February was a stressfull month, but no gain, so want to keep it that way. Yoga and walking meditation are a godsend!)

Congrats on your efforts being noticed.

I have been doing pretty well...still sick (severe cough since mid-December Lang with a bruised tailbone) but sticking with my personal trainer (only missed one session), the warm water pool, yoga, and occasional trips to the gym.
I have lost six pounds In 2019 but almost all of that in January.
I am listening to a meditation to reduce cravings for alcohol and have managed a few AF days lately.
You, my friend, are doing great and are an inspiration to so many of us!
