Still hanging in there

Now the Waiting! The Police investigation is done and now the chief has to do his section of this process. Once that is completed the cases are released over to the prosecutor. If any other follow up needs to be completed it goes back to the detective and if not this phase is behind us and we begin the next. The judge warrants the arrest and the trial proceedings begin. We get so close and something else happens. Yesterday the boundaries class that has been promised for my daughter for 5 years was canceled again. As this drags out her fear becomes worse. I am reaching out to so many agencies to help get us through this and we get so many excuses. Bottom line is no one wants to deal with it, have to deal with it, or knows how to deal with it. We are treading on unknown territory! At times we feel so alone, so ugly, so shameful and we are not even in the worst of it yet.
