2/25/19 - still going

Tuesday, February 26, 2019

Still going to the gym with a trainer 3-4 days a week. I recently went back too low carbs. Not what trainer wants me to do, but I'm seeing results from it. Can feel something finally after few months is happening internally. Like I may start to see physical results soon. Idk. Really need to work on not cheating on food, even one day of cheating right now may be messing me up. It's probably why I haven't lost much inches/ weight since December. My knees have been killing me more than usual. Hard to put body pressure on them like when doing squats or even sitting down on toilet so not going as hard. But i can jog, weird. Went to the doc and she just have ibuprofen and muscle relaxer. Said to take it easy and not more and try to loose more weight. Guess I'd have to get an xray our something if I really want to see if any damage is there. In meantime Keep on keeping on :)

For me, cheat days don't work.

I don't do cheat days either. I track everything and if I go over, I try to make adjustments the next day. As for the carbs; it depends on what your trainer's goals and your exercise regiment. Take care of those knees. Pain is your friend, it's telling you something is not right with the joint. Consult with your trainer. Lay off the squats and consider leg extensions until the knees feel better.

Trainer would rather me eat 6 meals a day. When I do low carb/lazy keto I eat 2-3 meals a day

Wonder why trainer is against no/low carbs? I heard excess carbs can cause problems with inflammation so going lower carb may help your knees. 🍀

i don't do cheat days; if I want something, I have a serving and track it. Give it a try and do non-food rewards--get a manicure, a massage or a facial, go to the movies, etc.
