went back and logged yesterday's food

Monday, February 25, 2019

I did well yesterday in terms of energy. I had taken a long nap on Saturday and that seemed to replenish me the rest of the weekend.

I was going to make a special weekend dinner, but backed off because I knew I needed the time to do things around the house. I got a load of laundry folded and mostly put away. I told  myself I did what I could and I did well.

Getting hungry not having regular scheduled snacks, and overly hungry. I end up eating two or three things in a row, fast. Then I feel bad. I usually go for cashews or almond butter. I want to gain control over this. How?

Drink water. Breathe. This following I learned from a podcast, Primal Potential:

"Is this (behavior) what I want to choose every day? (If not, then no)

Does this fit my exception, or my rule?
If it is my exception, is it worth it?"

Good advice.

I feel proud that I have tracked my food consistently for over a week. This is an accomplishment.

I'm now having a Coconut Cocoa Tea, a chocolate-flavored tea, for my still hungry after my light lunch and craving sweets reaction.
