Rough Spots

Thursday, February 21, 2019

We have had some family issues involving the hospital, extra kids, life transitions, etc. Three hungry kids means: convenience food! UGH! Oh yea, we went there more than once over the last couple of days. Although it was rough, I learned some things: healthy can still happen even in a pinch but I have to be willing to fight for it. Extra bodies means extra moving. Workouts can still happen, just in small moments. As they say, "Great things happen in very small moments." I did not eat the donuts or the little debbie snacks. I did not eat the chips and I refused the ice cream. These are some of my victories. I also felt good about tracking what I actually ate even though it was way off my plan. There it is, I own it, now to move forward and to do so hydrated! Water intake was lost in the shuffle and I was horrified to go an entire day and eat no freggies. I chuckle at myself as this was my normal not so long ago. Never, never, NEVER GIVE UP!!
