I erased my blog earlier today

I thought my tone was too stressed. Not that I have anything serious to stress about. Just the fast and busy pace of daily life and not much time for myself. I got baptized outside the ladies room yesterday when I collided with a coworker walking out of the bathroom holding a cup of coffee. So did the wall and the rug. So I cleaned it up as best as I could. My coworker thanked me for doing it and swiftly returned to her desk. Swell. I apologized to the editor (physicist) whose office we were standing in front of, and asked the building staff to clean the rug. I ran into him in the hall later and he told me it was cleaned, then stood and chatted with me for a few minutes, which was pleasant. We were wondering what happened to the silver “disco balls” that used to hang near the blind spots in the hallways. You could see a distorted, miniature version of some one coming around the corner, and avoid slamming into them. We had an award-winning NYC architectural firm redesign our office and add a floor about 5 years ago. I guess they thought they were not design worthy, so our disco ball days are over.
WW at Work continues for a while longer. I lost 5 pounds then gained 6 back over the holidays. I enjoy the meetings and learn from them. It’s nice to get together with my colleagues, since we have a very quiet office environment and I live in the land of headphones: podcasts, audio books, and whatever else I can listen to while spending hours in front of a computer or getting showered with coffee. I keep trying to improve my snacking and tracking habits, and find it hard to get done everything I want. Busy, busy.
