So, in attempting to be an observer of my food habits and get some distance from negative habits, I have discovered the best time for me to focus on fruits and vegetables is during the work day for now. I stick to my plan better during work days. I have added a fruit to breakfast and double veggies to lunch, fruits and vegetables for snacks most of the time rounds out two thirds of my day. I have also noticed I can prepare and eat an entire supper with no vegetables. SHEESH!! I tend to give in to the whims of family or what is fast instead of what is healthy. So, while making the grocery list today I will be planning evening meals for the family just like I plan the other two for myself. Progress not perfection I say to myself again and again.
