Still sliding sideways.

Tuesday, February 05, 2019

I am digging in because yesterday I really slid sideways. I had a bunch of Junk and aduly beverages. First thing this morning I cleaned house. Threw all the junk into the garbage. It felt good. I struggle with throwing away good food i paid for. However today I chose for my future instead of my wallet.

It's hard to get rid of food. I guess if it were canned or boxed and unopened, you could donate to a food pantry but once opened there's not much you can do. I usually give mine to the kids if they come in for a visit. If not, I close my eyes and chuck it out. It's hard but now if I want something 'bad' I will only buy a single serving of it which also means I have to go out special to get it. Since I guess I'm lazy, I usually won't go out special just to get a bag of chips or a can of pop/soda. So it does get easier.

Good choices. I've thrown out or given away food I shouldn't have purchased. It's very satisfying

I have trouble throwing the stuff out too. I try to not buy it so when the cravings hit it would require getting up and leaving the house but with 3 kids that's sometimes easier said than done. Good luck getting back on track.
