Raise of Hands, Who's Been Here Too?

Okay folks honestly who has been here? You know you offer yourself a chance to have a meal one time a week so you don't cheat, but....are you really still cheating yourself?

How counterproductive is this? We fall off of the wagon; jump back on, sometimes to only fall back off again. This happens in all areas of our lives not just eating. Falling off of the wagon used to refer to just alcohol nowadays, the expression is used to refer to the resumption of any bad activity β€” drugs, smoking, overeating, etc Basically anything in our lives we are striving so hard for but struggling and going back to. There is a BEST course of action you can follow. It’s easy. Just make better choices. Don’t beat yourself up over falling. You can always fall down but pick yourself back up each and every time. Make picking yourself back up a habit. Just because you make a bad choice with one meal or one drink you don't need doesn't mean each meal or drink needs to be the same as your 'not so good choice from before.'

I always refer to these times as stepping stones, not stumbling blocks.
