Our focus this week is never give up. I guess I'm there. I've been on a weight loss journey for the past 46 years. I have finally found the way of eating that my body is accepting and that I can live easily with. Is it perfect? No, but the thought of living with diabetes has terrified me and I will do everything necessary to hold that at bay. I have given up sugar for the past year and I no longer crave it, same with grains. I still struggle some with overeating and poor food choices. Taking away sugar and grains and knowing that they are poisoning my body makes it much easier to at least overeat good, clean, whole foods. I'm worth it, my kids and my grandkids are worth it. I'm ready to retire and have fun and travel more. I'm worth it!!
