I have a fatty liver, very slow thyroid and high blood pressure. Losing weight is almost impossible for me. Ive been exercising walking, elliptical, stationary bike, row mechine an weights. I have lost but it's a huge battle. I feel that I'm just getting to old an I just want to eat Cake but I'm still fight to meet my goal .... Thanks for any advice or ideas that may help me in this struggle....

It all begins someplace and you just started there. Sp is the way to do it.

We want to remember it took us a few years to put our weight on and it comes off a little at a time, just like it went on. People get frustrated with it not coming off faster than we put it on. But with consistent focus on doing what we are told on SP we will hit our objective. Like many things it just wont get there overnight.

Make sure you make one of your most focused goals you water intake. Myself, when I hit plateaus its because I am not doing the water correct. I found using a reminder on my phone to be very helpful in making sure I keep on track with the water

Dr. Oz says to start out the day with Lemon Water before breakfast. It helps your organs get started after "breaking your fast (sleeping).

Welcome to SP! I have a condition where I’m in pain every day, all day. I actually found that getting some exercise in, no matter how hard, made me feel better a bit eventually. So far I’ve lost 70lbs with 20 left. It will take you time.

Welcome to Spark. You will find that you are not alone in any of what you stated above that you are going through. It really is a struggle for everyone but well worth the effort. I have found that Spark is a great place to get the help and support I have needed along the way and you will too. The important thing to remember is to not be too hard on yourself and don't give up. Expect "bumps in the road" and just keep keep'n on. Slow but sure wins the race.
