Tomorrow Has to be Better

As I've said before, I don't like it when someone else is in control of my day. I had found some menus which were healthy, high fiber (which I need), easy to prepare, and delicious. I had my day planned. However, this morning just before leaving for church, my husband tells me we are going out for lunch. We had a good time with his daughter and her family, however, I did not get to have my planned meal for today. I was able to get a salad which was not piled high with unhealthy items. That made it a little better, but I did not get the fiber I would have with my planned meal. We had to wait what seemed like forever to get our food. My husband was getting ready to go somewhere else when we finally got served after waiting about 45 minutes. Everyone else was finished when I was only about half way through my salad. I brought the rest home and ate after I got home. This may not seem so bad, but we had gone out of town and were late getting back home. After finishing, it wasn't long until time to get ready to leave for church. The bad part is that I did not get my exercise time. I broke my streak of 10,000 steps because most of the day was either sitting in church, in the car, or in the restaurant.
Tomorrow will be better. I am determined to follow my plan, make time for exercise, and get back to beginning another streak of 10,000+ steps. I had done so well last week following my plan. I will not let one day derail me. It was very disappointing to lose my streak, but tomorrow is a new day and a new start.
