Tomorrow Has to be Better

Monday, January 28, 2019

As I've said before, I don't like it when someone else is in control of my day. I had found some menus which were healthy, high fiber (which I need), easy to prepare, and delicious. I had my day planned. However, this morning just before leaving for church, my husband tells me we are going out for lunch. We had a good time with his daughter and her family, however, I did not get to have my planned meal for today. I was able to get a salad which was not piled high with unhealthy items. That made it a little better, but I did not get the fiber I would have with my planned meal. We had to wait what seemed like forever to get our food. My husband was getting ready to go somewhere else when we finally got served after waiting about 45 minutes. Everyone else was finished when I was only about half way through my salad. I brought the rest home and ate after I got home. This may not seem so bad, but we had gone out of town and were late getting back home. After finishing, it wasn't long until time to get ready to leave for church. The bad part is that I did not get my exercise time. I broke my streak of 10,000 steps because most of the day was either sitting in church, in the car, or in the restaurant.
Tomorrow will be better. I am determined to follow my plan, make time for exercise, and get back to beginning another streak of 10,000+ steps. I had done so well last week following my plan. I will not let one day derail me. It was very disappointing to lose my streak, but tomorrow is a new day and a new start.

So... you really know what breaking a streak is don't you! And I'm sure you restarted just fine too.
I could relate to restarting a day sometime as well. It's a never ending challenge.

Thanks for stopping by... I appreciate it.

I can understand not liking it when things don't go as planned.
Sending you good vibes that you are IN CONTROL this coming week.

I had a one year streak of 10,000 steps. I actually felt a lot of pressure to keep it going. It was kind of a relief to stop.
