Working My Way Back

Friday, January 25, 2019

I have had a productive and active day so far. Going to rest for the remainder of the day because I don't want to overdo it and end up getting sick again. I did a strength training session, some yoga and a short walk outside. It was really nice to get out of the house for a bit. I feel great for the most part emoticon

My legs are really hurting today they felt a little better when I was walking. I read a friend's blog about having leg pain because of high blood sugar. Yesterday my blood sugar was 294 and today it is 274. I did not check my blood sugar at all when I was sick. So I have no idea how long it has been this high. I read the book that I got from my diabetes class it goes into how to bring your blood sugar up when it is low, but nothing on how to bring blood sugar down when it is high, so I a frustrated with that. All I know is to keep my carbs low and exercise, which am finally got some in today!

Bryce, my oldest son was talking about going out on the town and have a slow night (no dancing) and maybe to some walking along the 16th St. mall. Find a new restaurant to eat at. It sounds fantastic to me, but will see if I am up to it once evening arrives.

Have a great Friday evening!

Diabetes is a nutrition issue. Look into going gluten free too. My husband is type 2 diabetic and when he went gf he is almost in remission now-helped him lose 20 pounds too. Also taking vitamins and minerals helps. Look into Youngevity products...been great for my husband. Look up Dr. Joel Wallach on YouTube on diabetes. He will tell you what to take on the video. Feel better soon.

Glad that you were able to walk and that helped your leg pain.

Hope that you and your son have a good time. Glad you’re feeling better.
