So, I had been experiencing some really extreme tiredness and fatigue for several weeks. Like, needing to take a good, long nap in the middle of the day tired. And still going to bed and sleeping like normal, too! I think I finally figured it out... one of my medications was increased around this time and drowsiness is a side effect. So, I've switched from taking it in the morning to taking it at night to sleep it off. I've only been doing that for about a week and am still adjusting to it. It's helping, though, at least. That means I'd been too tired to go to the gym every day. Barely staying awake in church. Spacing out at work. I'm hoping to have my energy back shortly. Improvements are still needed on the sleeping front, though.

My refrigerator and my kitchen sink both decided to betray me this week and I have had neither of them functioning properly. So, that means no food to cook and no way to cook it without a sink. Ugh, so I've been eating out more than I'd like to. I have managed to do overnight oats for breakfasts, which I'm bad at eating breakfast normally, so I have found some improvements among the chaos. Hopefully these things will be fixed sooner rather than later so I can get on a smooth, healthy track.

I got my results back from my heart monitor. I'm still doing okay, although nothing has changed. My arrhythmia even improved by 1%, so at least I know my medications for it are working. I'd like to lose some weight and eat healthier to know I'm helping the ol' ticker instead of making it harder to beat right.

I've been enjoying the company of my kitties and we're just snuggling our way through our days!

Does the new medication have any restrictions about taking water? sometimes I find medications that make me drowsy also seem to dehydrate me (and drowsiness is also a symptom of dehydration, making the issues cloudier....)... so if I take more water, it seems to help counteract the drowsiness. But hey, taking the med at night works too, just sleep it off anyway!

Hope it all gets resolved soon!! I'd send you my crockpot if you thought that would help with the stove situation?? Is this at your parents house?? Crazy!! Praying for you!!

I didn't realize you were back here until I saw your response to my blog. Welcome back! Yes, taking kitties to the vet is sooo stressful. I'm trying to catch up on your blogs and see what's new with you. I think we joined on the very same day a decade ago. Amazing how time flies.

Good to hear from you...hope you can master the energy and sleep issues. When I was undergoing radiation therapy daily for 8 weeks...I had to leave my work/office around 2:30 every day or risk falling asleep driving home. Bone tired is terrible. Cuddles to the new kitties!
