One of my goals is to write three good things that happen to me each day. For today, I'll go with snow shoveling, stretching, and trying new recipes (one for bread, and one a weird concoction of rice, chicken, tomatoes, and canned alfredo sauce that actually was pretty edible).

I realized today I have never actually kneaded bread before. My mother had a bread machine that we used for all the early parts of the process. If the bread tastes good, I'll say I enjoy it; if not, I may invest in a machine XD

@Rhook20047 I grew up using the bread machine, and I loved it! But we don't have one at our house now, and I wasn't sure I wanted to invest the money and counter space into purchasing one. My husband had never had homemade fresh baked bread before, and he loves it, so maybe I'll change my mind!

I use my bread machine about once every other week. We limit our bread consumption, but I love the way the house smells when I use it!

@ZRIE014 Thanks, you do the same!

@FARMGIRRRL1 That sounds great! I wasn't upset today, and a lot of my stress was worked out shoveling, BUT it was still pretty fun, and the bread was good!

The best time to make bread is when you are upset. Because of all the pounding and kneading helps relieve alot of the stress you have built up. And think of it as an arm work out too.
