1. I really enjoy food
How can I keep it fun?
Plan meals and snacks to include (1) variety and (2) favorite foods
No foods are off limits, just watch portions
Try new foods and new recipes
Involve others in the prep – cooking together is fun
Use fun/colorful dishes and make a meal more of an occasion than a dine-and-dash – Music? Candles? Sitting at the table with a nice placemat and napkin?
Consider packing breakfast to eat at work rather than rushing through it at home
Schedule meals at work so I don’t work through lunch by mistake, and take time to appreciate the break
Eat outside (at the park?) when it’s warm enough
2. I snack when I’m bored
What can I do in front of the tv, other than eating?
Need something to keep my hands busy, OR need to get out of the habit of needing to do something with my hands
3. I’m lazy
How can I make activity fun?
Take Seri along
Go to a variety of places to walk
Consider finding a walking group?
Look into dancing options
What other activities might be fun?
Biking? Where could I bike that would be more level, and what bike is in condition to ride?
