2019 Here I come

Let me just let all of you know, I really love this website and am so happy to have found it in 2009. I am in awe of all of you when I read your blogs and posts exposing your feelings, your stats good and bad, and your current size pictures. I have always known the answer to me losing this weight lies here with the encouragement and support we all give each other,

However, after 10 years of logging in, I haven't made significant progress in my weight loss and, in fact, gained 15lbs since I initially found this site. Sometimes, I feel more like a spectator than a participant and this has left me nowhere near my goals.

In 2019 I really want to change that. I am taking a new approach to open up more about myself and work to stay focused on positivity. I joined TOPS today which I believe will help me stay more accountable with weekly weigh-ins and support with food choices.

These pictures show where I am today. I plan to post pictures every two weeks so that I can see the difference as I get stronger in my journey. I also know that logging in my food intake in short order is key for me to avoid "calorie dementia."

Getting older has been a real eye opener of how important it is to stay healthy. I look forward to re-gaining flexibility and strength because in the last few years, my body has been letting me know it is not happy with the neglect I have been giving it and I better do something about it. Getting up in the morning I feel like the Tin Man from the Wizard of Oz.
