Progress since January 2018

I've been aware of many changes since January 2018, but this morning I took time to take an inventory:
My strength and flexibility increased steadily throughout the year.
My food choices were better for the entire year.
My sleep improved.
My attitude improved.
My outlook on life improved.
I became more engaged in my life and pursued some personal interests.
I played…a lot, something I hadn’t done in a long time.
My body fat decreased.
I lost 25.6 pounds slowly and consistently, exactly the way I wanted to lose weight.
Even though the program was terminated the first week in December (without notice) I didn’t give up. I began looking for new ways to continue getting healthier in 2019.
This is the first time in many years that I began a year healthier than I was the prior year.
These are huge accomplishments for me. It took a lot of hard work and a lot of support from family and friends. I’m proud I made so much progress in 2018 and I look forward to continuing to make progress in 2019!
