Hope everyone had a great New Years and you all have a healthy and happy one :)
My newest member of the family, Jack (He's Chock Full O Nuts), arrived. He is only 3 and looks just like JC who is now 13. I can't believe it. My baby is all grown up. I have leased JC to a young girl and he loves her. I still get to ride him. Jack isn't quite ready for me yet. We took a trip to Kentucky with my trainer and looked at a lot of young horses. When we saw Jack in his stall, we knew he was the one. He has JC's personality. Loves people. Loves his job and he is smart
He is just like his brother.
The person in the pictures is my trainer. She is awesome with the horses and only 27 years old. She is the best trainer I have every had! JC and Jack love her.

In November, we took a trip to Nashville and New Orleans with my son. On the drive back, I spent a lot of time on my tablet. We live in Wisconsin. It was a long drive. A few days later, my arm really started bothering me. Yesterday, I finally went to the doctor. I have tendinitis in my elbow. He gave me a shot of cortisone and told me I have to wear a wrist brace for a couple of months. That should be great for riding
I got off my diet and exercise for a while. In August, my dear friend died of Cancer. I met her in 1989 when I got my first teaching job. She was my mentor teacher and we stayed friends all these years. Since 2012, my son had been working at her house helping her out. When she passed, I was one of her POA's.
Long story short. I had to deal with selling her house and getting affairs in order. Her nephew was the Trustee, but only he and my son were beneficiaries of everything. She was so smart. She put everything in the name of the trust. She set up everything. She even wrote her own obit and church service. That turned our lives upside down for 3 months.
I have recently started Real Appeal which my insurance pays for. I have hooked up my Wii again and I am doing it every day. I am getting back up to 10,000 steps a day.
I am riding JC 2 x a week and going to Pilates 2 x a week. I am determined to get back down on the scale. Unfortunately, I put back on 15lbs of the 30 I had lost. It needs to come off again!!!
