3 steps Forward, 1 step Back

I have been doing really well in my opinion. I stopped eating processed foods, I cut sugar. I preped my meals for the week. I even came home and did some chores. I have found that I do better if I don't sit down when I first get home. If I do I don't want to get back up. I will sit there the rest of the evening watching TV with the hubs or doing ancestry on my computer. SO if I want to get stuff done after work I can't sit down.

This morning I went to the gym. I brought my breakfast and lunch to work. Then I was told it was one of my coworkers πŸŽ‚. Usually I know when it is someones birthday and I plan something. This time I didn't know. So I had to go during lunch and get some sort of sweets. I had absolutely no intent of eating anything sweet. I really didn't have a need for it, but when I got to the bakery (🧁 πŸͺ πŸ₯§ I like to try to get something different every celebration πŸŽ‰ because everyone is unique) they had samples....multiple samples....I failed. the place was busy and I think I ended up eating two of each sample and a big cookie as soon as I got to my car. :( SO I killed my longest streak of eating right. And of course since I already failed there was no reason to eat my meal at work I might as well eat out right....triple fail.

But tomorrow is a new day. I will do better, but am feeling bad about my failure for today

Thank you Ladies, I am feeling down but I will be right back in the gym tomorrow 5am. I have to win this, I will win this.
Animal27 I hope you will be able to hit up your treadmill tomorrow and one day/ or part of a day can't counter act everything.
Marie18, you are correct , as soon as I got back from lunch I told a friend I needed her to take over for a while she said net time she will go with me. It's not exactly what I asked but I'm sure it will help.

Janisfee..Cookies are my favorite! I probably would have stopped at the samples but they had Lemon Cookies and I love lemon. The worst thing was I didn't really enjoy it, it was too hard. But lesson learned

Mark it as a learning experience, and move on. Tomorrow is a new day. No sense dwelling on something we cant change. Today has been rough for me do to medical stuff. I ate stuff I shouldn't have and wasnt allowed to use my treadmill.

Please don't beat yourself up over this. It is not a failure. It is a learning experience. It is a very thoughtful thing for you to want to do this for others but maybe you can give this up for awhile so as to not place yourself in a difficult situation. I am sure your co workers will understand. Then, maybe you can pick this back up again when you are further along in your journey. Just saying....
