thinking about Harleigh and the blue towels

Thursday, January 10, 2019

SUNNYCALIGIRL blogged about her cat getting confused when she repurposed some towels that appeared by her catbox, but suddenly were moved. Our cat, Mia, is in the habit of watching videos on my work at home day. I have a spare computer on my desk, and I have blogged before about her looking at animal videos when I am working home. Yesterday, she browsed the animal category in YouTube, as usual. Then I had "Watership Down" on Netflix on. This is an animated film with talking rabbits. She was riveted by this.

This morning, my husband emailed me this photo, taken after I had already left for work:

She's clearly in position for the morning viewing event. But the screen is dark. And the cat Mommy is at the office today.

Poor Mia!!!

Love it! My cat loves anything with bird songs and will put her nose to the screen to try and find the source.

    Cute!!

I have left the TV on for my other cats when I have known I will only be gone for a short time, like a run to the store to buy one item.

That is so interesting. I used to try to get my cat to watch something on TV, but he was never interested, like he couldn't see it or something. Maybe it wasn't the right angle. Mia is a beauty! I know there are websites that have live camera feeds all day. I used to watch bears in Alaska, but they are hibernating right now. Here is the website, if you are interested. If you really want to spoil her, you could set up computer to these live feeds so she could watch it all day. There are birds, cats, sea lions, fish, etc.
