I have re-set my goals to a more doable state. If I do better than what SP would allow, that's an added bonus. I have done well so far.
I know that you are not supposed to weigh every day but it helps keep me on the right track so I chose to do that. I have lost 1.8 pounds since Monday. That is a really big accomplishment for me.
I usually snack way too much and I have resisted any treats this week. Another big accomplishment for me. I have stuck to may plan and made great choices when it comes to eating.
My husband wants to join a gym. I'm reluctant because of the cost but we have been utilizing free trial period the past two nights. This trial has made me realize that I have to get myself back into better shape. Since knee surgery last May and my physical therapy visits ended in October, I have not been doing much and it shows. Not only in my clothes but in my abilities. A friend and I have been walking during our breaks, which helps, but the bicycle and elliptical really put the hurt on me the past couple nights. I'm sure the weather going from unusually warm to cold attributes to the soreness but I really want to get back into shape. I used to play softball, volleyball and dance every chance I could. Now, going up or down stairs is challenging. I'm slowly working towards getting better; it's just going to take longer than I'd like.
