My Stress Busting Challenge

Sunday, January 06, 2019

Yep, you read correctly!!! I will do my best to get through this challenge and do the necessary homework too. In fact, I have been so stressed out that I am a week behind in this challenge because I have not been around and when I was there was just too much going on with me medically that was stressing me out BIG time that I forgot all about the challenge.

The stressors that I identified this past week were:

1. Finances
2. Medical Issues
3. Holding two high demand positions at TOPS
4. Dysfunctional family
5. Another death which makes 10 people in less than a year that have passed away

The financial situation has been alleviated as God graced me with a surprise check of almost $200.00 from a claim that I put in against something in my checking account and it was ruled against me that I had to pay it and four years later the bank is telling me that they mishandled the situation. They are paying me three times what the amount was that was being disputed.

The medical issues are being addressed and already a surgeon told them he would not allow me to do the prep that was being called for so I could have a colonoscopy. He told me and the nurse that it could kill me and he wouldn't do it and he would find another way. I love this surgeon.

Well, I no longer hold two high demand positions at TOPS because someone stepped up to help me so now I have one and I am loving it!

What can I say about my dysfunctional family? I am PRAYING!!!!

As for all my friends and family that have passed away, I know some of them are in Glory but others I have no idea where they are and I won't until I get to Glory which will be at least another sixty years!!!!

I had a very productive day today as I am not only Sparking but I am still decluttering and boxing things up, I did two loads of laundry and even took some things back to HomeDepo for my friend. Oh yeah, I cleaned out the inside of my car and I even took the mats out and washed them. It's all nice, clean, vacuumed and smelling really good and I did it all right in front of my door. I am a bit tired but it's a good tired and I pray I can finish boxing things up and deep clean my bathroom tomorrow.

Oh Nancy-Jean. I am so glad to hear about that surprise check. It is true that He really does work in mysterious ways!

So glad that the surgeon was looking out for your best interests! That is another God send.

Glad you only have on demanding position @ TOPS now. Good that someone stepped up to the plate to help.

Family – you can choose your friends, but can’t choose your family. Sometimes it is just not easy!

Sorry for all your losses. That takes it’s toll. But prayers definitely helps.

HUGS and glad you were able to accomplish so much.

    Blessings and prayers for you!

I have a disfunctional family. They are best handled by sitting back and watching from afar with popcorn. 😂 Gotta love em all.
