Got hit with a snowball and challenged to write a blog.

Working through my snowball challenges and the tic-tac-toe board. I started two days late so I'm going to be extra sore the next few days.

I've enjoyed participating on the last couple of BL challenges. They are pushing me to keep going. Although I keep hovering around the same weight, I'm happy with that for the moment. Work has been very intense with a merger (they joined us but they have taken over) since August. So I try to get some of the fitness challenges done at lunch or in the bathroom (love the counter for wall presses).

One of my goals for this year is to be more consistent with fitness and nutrition. Almost every day I eat a salad for lunch, drink more than enough water, have fruit or veggies during the day, and generally have something light for dinner. It's the stress eating at work (in other words, snacking) that I need to get control of. I also need to work on getting enough sleep. Alarm goes off at 4:30, stretch and get ready to leave house by 5:50. Downtown at my desk about 7:00. Leave work 6:25, home by 7:20. Stop at my daughter/granddaughters, go home, eat, do a bit of exercising, get ready and in bed by 9:30 at the latest for 7 hours of interrupted sleep (dang that Mother Nature and my husband who likes to live in the tropics so it is always hot in the house--personal summer it is not - I'm past that).

My other goal is to get my house in order. It's a disaster. I'm not home long enough to do anything. Needs a good spring cleaning, painting, fixing up, and get rid of stuff. I've got my notebook started with each room and what I want to do in each room, basement, back porch, etc. Very overwhelming but it needs to be done.

One last goal -- 364 days to Disney. Need I say more. We'd be there now but my GD has a Girl Scout trip in two weeks and a band trip at the end of the school year. That burst the vacation fund. My going out of town consists of hopping the border to NW Indiana weekly to my son's to babysit!!!!

Thanks for listening to the rant of my life and goals. And thank you for being my SP Friend. We can do this. Together. One day at a time.
