Finalizing my New Year's Goals
Thursday, January 03, 2019
From December 6th to January 2 I managed to lose 6 lbs. The doctor was very pleased, not to mention my blood sugars are averaging about 115 a month now and .... my BP is no longer up and running away from me. All-in-all I'm tickled pink. Back at the end of November I decided to jump-start my new years. Why wait, right? Also in the state of Ohio in order to receive any type of pain medications you have to be seen by the doctor which means a monthly visit vs every 3 months as before. So my weight can be monitored by their scales and I'm not going to worry about weekly weighs that stressed me out before.
My finalized goals for January are:
1.) Eat better and consistently track what I eat and to eat breakfast
2.) Drink more water
3.) Exercise daily by following the walk this way challenge
4.) Stretch, stretch, stretch
That's it. They are plain and simple, just like I like them. I'm on my fifth day of little to no sciatic pain. Can I just tell you how elated I am? I truly think that my exercising is helping even though they said not to. I'm not doing aerobic exercising, jumping around or anything like that. I'm using my gazelle and resistant bands.
So that in a nut shell is how I'm rolling in January. I hope everyone else has mapped out their plan for success. we are all in this together, so here's to health and happiness.
Just for kicks ~
