One year since my last blog

Well, I am back. I have not been taking care of my health and it shows. I have gained 40 lbs in the last year. I know I can lose the weight AGAIN. And even better, I know I can keep the weight off this time. Some things I have learned -- the food I want isn't worth that fleeting feeling compared to meeting the goals I have set. I don't like the feeling of being out of control. I don't like not fitting into my "skinny clothes". I do like working out. I like seeing pictures of the skinny me and not so much the larger me.
However I have also learned that I like the skinny me and the larger me. I am going to be kinder to me -- whether I am fluffy or not -- whether my clothes are loose or tight.
