Well I did it. I reached my goal weight. GAINED OVER THE HOLIDAYS Of course I gain a little over the holidays. How much, I don't know. But I can tell by the way my clothes fit, it was a little bit. I'm back on track now. LIFETIME I decided 180 pounds is my goal weight. I feel comfortable here, and I can maintain this weight easily as long as I stick with my current plan. I was going to try to get to 165, but I would have to starve myself to stay there. WHAT HAPPENED THE LAST TIME I realize that the last time I lost 100 pounds, I kept trying to meet the standard BMI goal of 150 pounds. I never went into maintenance and eventually kind of just gave up. Before I knew it, I was up to almost 300 pounds. TAKING CONTROL This time I am taking control. I am losing this weight for myself. Not for the BMI chart, which was not developed with people like me in mind. I like my curves. And my measurements. NEW PLAN So my new plan is to start working on my physique. I want to get to a size 8/10 in dresses and pants. I want to tighten up and build muscle and bone. EATING AND EXERCISE I will continue to count my calories and get off the weight gained over the holidays. I will add working out and start measurement and workout goals. I am joining a gym and getting a trainer. Here I go. A new year, a new lifetime plan, a new me. Thank you Lord for blessing me.
