New Beginnings

Been a wild ride the last couple of years. 2 years ago I was nearing my 180 goal and getting excited about setting new goals! An old love came back into my life and swept me off my feet. We married and I found out that most of what he told me were lies.. or maybe just what he wanted to be truth, but wasn't? He would tell me what I wanted to hear and I thought we had a love to last. It didn't last. Too much fighting, too many lies, very little truth, and way too much stress later I have gained back 40 pounds and now have to find the strength to get back on track and lose it... again!

Today was day 1. I did not do a lot of exercising and my food wasn't all on track, but; I DID exercise and I DID track my food. Looking at my tracker the food wasn't horrible.. actually very close to good. I am happy with the start. I have set new goals and would like to lose 6 - 7 pounds a month, which is doable.

I have never been real active in the winter as I really hate the cold and snow, but I have indoor equipment and plenty of Walk at Home videos. I will do what I can until the weather improves and I can get back on the trails. While I have continued to hike trails the last couple of years it was not as often, nor as long, as I would have liked. This year I have higher goals to complete and many places to explore! May have to find a new hiking buddy, but there are lots of hikers out there!
