Welp, I didn't do so good last year but today is the start of a new year and I have a lot to get ready for. I am getting married this fall and want to feel and look great for that, and I also want to be able to work on having a baby.
We recently bought a house and the area has a lot of great places for walking. I actually just came back from a walk with my fiancée at an old golf course that was repurposed into a park. We went a little over a mile and I am pleased with that. Hopefully we can get back to doing 5k walks by the spring!
Truth be told, I've been feeling the burden of my weight on my knees since the tough move and it has scared me. There was a good two or three weeks in October and November that I was in constant intense pain, and unfortunately my fiancée was dealing with his own plantar fasciitis issues. We were quite the pair! lol. But honestly, the setback is what is helping us take our health more seriously. We are feeling better for the most part and we don't ever want to feel like we did again.
I bought a wok and we went and got a bunch of fresh foods to cook it in. It's our goal to use multiple times a week to make healthy meals. Tonight we're having a shrimp and veggie stir fry. I hope it turns out good! I really want to like the wok.
