Playing around on Spark some more, I made an alarming, yet exciting discovery....
Like most people, January 1st brings on reflection of the past year and thoughts of the possibilities of the following year to come. One of my biggest accomplishments several years ago was losing 55lbs, bringing me closer to my ideal weight. Since then I have gained over half of that back and am longing to have that heathier, thinner body I once had.
With that said, I was playing around on Spark's weight goal calculator and came across that fact that if I consistently lose 2 lbs every week, I can be down to 158 pounds by August 1st
Can that truly be real?! Just 7 months to the healthy, fit body I've been dreaming of?!
I do realize 2 lbs a week is quite ambitious. It puts a lot of pressure on me to lose every week, but I do love a good challenge.
Lose 60 lbs by August 1st, weighing 158 lbs
To not become so overwhelmed by this goal, I'm breaking it up into 2 smaller goals:
Jan - April 15th
lose 29 lbs, weighing 189 lbs
April 16th - August 1st
lose 31 lbs, weighing 158 lbs
This discovery excites me! My fiancee and I are planning our wedding which is 14 months away. It would be amazing to be a healthier, more fit version of myself on that special day!
