A couple were stuck in a snow storm

The power went out in the snow storm.
John and Susie were holidaying overseas. They sat drinking their morning coffees as they listened to the weather report.
"There will be three to five inches of snow today. You must park your cars on the odd numbered side of the road," the news reporter said.
John finished off his coffee and went to move his car.
Two days later, they sat down with their cups of coffee and listened again to the weather forecast.
"There will be two to four inches of snow today. You must park your cars on the even-numbered side of the street," they heard over the radio.
John again went to move his car.
Three days later, they tuned in to the weather report again.
"There will be six to eight inches of snow today. You must park your cars on the..." the news reporter said before the power went off.
"What am I going to do now?" John asked his wife.
"Just leave the car in the garage," Susie replied.
