Lots of sunshine...to bad it's so cold

Thursday, December 06, 2018

We are headed for below zero tonight...it is pretty cold to open the door for the dog. But it is supposed to be sunny and up into the 20's tomorrow when I have chores to do. I cut the blue block for this month today but didn't get to sewing on it. I played on the computer too much again. Being busy in my online game is one of my stratgies for getting thru the holidays alone.

Here is another mitten. I sure love the things my embroidery machine can do now that I know more about how to manipulate the designs a bit.

I tried a piece of salmon for dinner. Not bad and pretty easy to eat. Should have made more veggies tho because my piece of salmon was pretty small. But I had my protein and some veggies so that works for me.

Thank fulls
1. choices and not always caring if your right or wrong
2. I did not rescue the garbage can from the street...it can stay there until I need it for all I care.
3. My space heater is my friend today.

So tomorrow is going to be a long day. First my hair, then I'll run down to Lamberton to get the fabric that I cut wrong and then the dog goes to the doctor. I'm very afraid there will be nothing that can be done for him. Will just have to wait and see. Lucky I don't need anything from the store so I'll just come home from the vet. My mouth has been pretty good all day. The dentist did say it would be 3 to 4 weeks before I was used to all this in my mouth. We are not to 3 weeks yet.

I LOVE salmon and you're right - it's easy to eat! Hopefully the dentist is right and you'll adjust over the next couple weeks to all the "extra" in your mouth, and that what you're able to eat will dramatically expand!

Sounds too cold for me although I don't mind the cold. We are quite warm here at our winter home. But the storms going through this weekend will drop our temps by 20+ degrees by Mon.
Try to stay warm and enjoy the day! Love the work on the mitten!

CALAMITIE: You are awesome with all your sewing. I love the mitten you made. Sounds as if you are doing really good on your diet. Hope your dog gets ok.

Take care of yourself and keep that sewing machine going with more beautiful things.
