Fall 5% Results and the Future

Another one bites the dust and I'm still learning. Met some of my goals like biking at least 150 miles in November. Fell short of others like the Fall 5% goal, lowest I got to was 247 pounds.



Consistency's what I will focus on going forward because honestly I think losing the weight isn't that hard part. The hard part is keeping that bigger picture in mind that helps us to keep from straying too far from what we've accomplished.



Please wear your helmets when cycling. It's all too easy to forget why we joined Sparkpeople and why we do what we need to do daily to become healthier. It's even easier to forget if you're unlucky enough to fall and suffer a needless head injury. Helmets are like eating better, getting enough sleep, interacting well with ourselves and others, drinking enough water and getting exercise on a regular basis: not always easy but so worth it.
