My doctor appointment went very smoothly. He said I am a "trooper" for not using any anesthetic. He did have to numb part of my face so the cauterization would not hurt so much.

I feel better today.
I did some more shopping today, beat the crowds, so consider it a major accomplishment. The traffic was heavy , but I did get finished before the lunch rush hour.

This reminded me of my little momma. When I brought her to FL to live with us because she was all by herself back in Iowa and her bank called me to tell me they were worried about her because she was walking to the bank with her galoshes on but no coat in really cold weather. I flew back there to clean out her house (no easy task because she didn't want to let go of ANYTHING) and had lived in that house for 50 years.

AWKKKKK...I had to pitch stuff and pack stuff at night when she was sleeping. I brought what we could and packed up boxes for her most precious stuff to ship.

My mother flew back with me on the airplane for the first time in her 86 years. She was scared spitless...had her little hands wrapped around her seatbelt over her lap and held on for dear life.

Once we finally landed in FL I turned to her and said: "Momma...I'm SO PROUD of you...you did SUCH a great job flying for the first time!"

She looked up at me with her little smile and said "Well, Roberta...I tried to be a good trooper!"

So adorable this little 4'9" woman was...she was a spitfire when she was young but became so mellow and lovely as she got older. I miss her so much! emoticon

Just had to share that with you, my friend. emoticon

"Trooper" is a nicer word than "crazy"! LOL... I'm glad the procedure went well and you didn't have to suffer much. It sounds like a really good day. Big hugs!

My son had his nose reset after it was broken without anesthetic. He came out with tears streaming down his face, but he did it!
