The old adage is true, if you are not getting results from what you have been doing then change it up.

I have had a hard time with this because I am stubborn and believe if I have researched and studied and found the way then that shall be the way!

    What a great article. I love resets. It helps point my mind in the right direction of my goals. With all of the busyness in life, I tend to get off track and distracted. Going through a reset works for me. Great suggestions in there! Thanks for sharing.

    Colette, This is an awesome article. This is exactly what life coach would do for you. You can break things up into doable junks, you can do whatever you want, when you get stuck you can find someone to be your accountability coach right here on Spark if you want.

    What is wonderful is that when you get unstuck in one area, it usually unsticks you in many more areas. The beauty of change.

    I think all of us are stubborn to some degree. We like to stick with our old ways because they are comfortable like an old feather pillow. -- I only use this analogy because I just got rid of my pillow that was over 50 years old -- someone told me about all the dust mites it must have. I was so upset and angry but deep inside I knew they were right. I am still not used to the new pillow and still mourning my old one, but I do know the change is healthy for me. I keep thinking how long does it take until it feels comfortable, but then I have to remember, it isn't feathers and bugs - it is foam and new material and I have stopped sneezing a hundred times in the morning. emoticon emoticon

    That was a helpful article! I especially like this idea: "Treat yourself like someone you are responsible for helping." If I look at my behavior with regard to food, I realize I have never done this but in fact have sometimes treated myself as someone I've been assigned to harm! Isn't that crazy? Reading the article reminds me that resets are possible every single day, sometimes even several times a day. Thank you for this helpful blog.
