November Review

November was a great month! I hit a couple of big goals (both on the scale and off!).

First goal - I upped my long run from 3 miles to 4 miles. When I started I could even run 1 mile without stopping, now I can run 4 at a pretty decent pace! It's amazing what some hard work and determination can do!

Another goal I reached is getting below 153. This is a big number for me because it means that I am no longer in the obese BMI range! Now I'm overweight and headed straight for healthy!

And overall I lost 7.1 lbs in November which is great!

I've never had this much success trying to lose weight before. I've tried more times than I can count and the furthest I've ever gotten is barely making it into the 160s and then I bounce right back up to around 175. I'm not sure what changed this time but it just feels easier and much more do-able. I'm not really doing anything different than I've done in the past - I've never been one for extreme/trend diets. I suppose maybe all the other times I didn't really want to succeed as much as I do this time around. I hope anyone who is reading this who has tried time and time again and feels like they won't ever be successful can find a little encouragement in my post. I used to think I couldn't do it, I would never lose the weight, I was destined to be obese/overweight forever. But you can do it! Even if you've failed a million times before you can do it!
