I will be going to my primary care doctor every 3 months in an attempt to keep me on track with my weight loss/healthier lifestyle. I restarted this journey September 2018 and have managed to lose 10 pounds. I have to say, the pounds seem to be coming off a whole lot slower than last time. However, I choose to not focus on that. I do feel a whole lot better because I am making changes to my bad food choices and am exercising regularly. The pounds will come off but better health is my primary concern. The results from my blood work are proving that these changes are making a big difference in my health. All of my numbers have improved. My A1C went from 6.6 down to 6.1 which is where I was before restarting my journey in September. I am still pre-diabetic so my new goal is to get down to 5.something. That is what I am mostly going to focus on and I will document my results at the end of each three month checkup.
