The way?

I find this to be the truth. The only way to get from point A to point D is to pass through points B and C... if I skip them they come back and kick me in the keister! Much easier to move through them in the first place. And realistically, if I try and skip them, I don’t really wholeheartedly arrive at point D anyways. It may be uncomfortable, it may be downright painful, but the growth potential is there, as is the learning potential. I won’t say that it feels like it is worth it in the midst of the pain and discomfort... nope, I won’t tell a whopper that big! But, I will say that in the end, looking back, it has generally been worth the struggle. This is as true of my medical issues, as it is of my weight maintenance struggles (and right now I am struggling), or my personal relationships. I don’t think of important things as “easy” or “hard”... but rather as essential steps to where I want to go. Some might be easier or harder, but they are all necessary to my journey... even if I don’t “like” them at the time...
