I finally got my hubby, life-partner of 35 years and best friend to go on a walk with me.... and he missed a pothole walking, talking with his hands and body. He so got lucky, no twisted ankle, broken bones or even hit on the ego. He just sat there for a minute, collected his wits about him and assessed the damage. Scraped leg and bruised knee. Itty bitty amount of bleeding due to pebbles that got onto his skin. Nothing a little water and antibiotic can't cure. He'll be really deep bruised for a while. He is diabetic and on blood thinners. The bruising is always severe, even for minor scrapes.
I am glad he is ok and happy not more happened, but I also think I lost my walking partner already.

So glad it wasn't worse. Darn for the bad luck. Is he a joker to goad his ego just a little in due time -- can't let the potholes win?

Oh my gosh - it figures it would happen the first time out! Glad it's no worse, but bummer about losing a potential walking partner!

Hopefully he will walk with you again. He will heal. the bruising is unsightly but as long as it doesn't extend further he should be alright. Glad he didn't get scratched up more. Just encourage him to walk with you again it is really so good for him and one of the easiest exercises we can do. hugs and have a good day.

I'm glad it was minor. I hope it doesn't put a damper on him walking more.
