A few weeks ago, I forgot about my step count goal and used the elevator at work. I had not done that in at least a year. I don't know what caused that brain cramp, but I did walk down the stairs afterwards. I am still working on step consistency, but am also dealing with a twingey, swollen ankle.

The day before Thanksgiving, my boss invited me out for lunch and I jumped at the chance for one-on-one time with her. We went to a Mexican restaurant which meant that I ate off plan. Black beans, brown rice, chips and queso are not part of my anti-inflammatory diet, but I did enjoy the meal and the time. When we got back to the office, she learned that her grandmother passed away and is enroute today to New York for tomorrow's funeral.

I ate off-plan on Thanksgiving despite better intentions. Pies! All gone now. I started the day with some good stretching today.

A few days ago, my cousin in Hawai'i posted that his wife has stage 3 of a rare cancer and that they had to travel from the Big Island to Honolulu for treatment. Their daughter was also in the hospital in Hilo and he was overwhelmed. I offered to assist if he needed it. At first, he said no and then asked for a small loan. Thanks to the Facebook issues for several days, I did not see his message until yesterday morning. Unfortunately, that portal is my only way to reach him (no email or phone #). I sent him a check and was so relieved yesterday afternoon to see his reply message that he knew help was on the way.

I have been undisciplined in exercise, food and chores. I must break out of this rut!

I discovered how I broke my streak on SparkPeople. I have logged in every day for more than a year, but I forget to spin for the log-on points. I need some sort of a reminder! Gah!

Sounds like there's a lot going on. I think perhaps before the new change came with Sparks it was easier to log on and see the wheel and spin. ( That is if you changed to the spark coach: Own your day). If so you could add it to your daily tasks to remember. emoticon

So many sad things going on is enough to set anyone off their plan :-( Your poor cousin :-( Prayers things will get better for them. I have been watching an incredible documentary series called Christ Revealed. Each episode is movie quality and length and traces Jesus's footsteps through his country. Very fascinating and amazing to see all the historic sites..

I have a hard time being on task always. At this time I am once again committing to exercise and watching my eating. I will not give up, I will not be over 200 again. Keep on keeping on.
